Convert One or Multiple Sheets
Visible XLSX worksheets are selected by default. You can include one or several sheets, and the PDF keeps the selected workbook order.
Portrait vs Landscape
Auto uses landscape for wider tables and portrait for narrower data. You can force either orientation when a specific submission format requires it.
Fit Spreadsheet to Page Width
Wide tables are scaled to fit the selected paper width rather than silently cropping columns. Large row sets are split into page-sized batches so the converter does not create one enormous canvas.
Why Wide Sheets Are Difficult
A spreadsheet can contain far more columns than a printed page can display comfortably. Fitting everything on one page can make text too small, so extremely wide workbooks may still be difficult to read. Consider simplifying the sheet before conversion when necessary.
Formula and Chart Limitations
The parser reads stored cell values. It does not run arbitrary formulas as JavaScript and does not emulate Excel's full calculation engine. Advanced charts, macros, pivot-table interactivity, conditional formatting and complex print settings may not appear like native Excel export.
Browser Privacy
XLSX ZIP/XML data is parsed locally. Spreadsheet cells and filenames are not sent to a remote converter.
CSV Support
CSV is supported as a simple single-sheet table. CSV does not carry Excel formatting, formulas, merged cells or workbook metadata.

Very large workbooks can use significant memory. The converter warns and paginates in row batches, but practical limits still depend on the browser and device.
How XLSX Workbooks Are Parsed
XLSX is an Office Open XML workbook stored as a ZIP/XML package. The converter reads workbook relationships, shared strings and worksheet XML locally. It reconstructs cell values into safe HTML tables and never evaluates spreadsheet formulas as JavaScript. Hidden sheets are listed but are not selected by default, while visible sheets are selected initially so the common case works without extra configuration.
Values, Dates, Numbers and Formulas
The converter prioritizes stored worksheet values. Text, numbers and cached formula results can be displayed where present in the file. It is not a full Excel calculation engine, so it does not recalculate an entire workbook, execute VBA or run external data connections. If a formula depends on recalculation and the saved workbook has no useful cached value, open and save the workbook in a spreadsheet application before converting.
Select One or Several Worksheets
Every worksheet has a checkbox. Select All and Deselect All make it easy to control a larger workbook. Selected sheets are appended to the PDF sequentially, with the worksheet name used as a small heading in the generated page content. Sheet data is not mixed across worksheets. This makes the output useful for monthly reports, multi-tab budgets and workbooks where only selected tabs should be shared.
Paper Size and Orientation
A4, Letter and Legal page sizes are available. Auto orientation examines the selected data and can choose landscape when a worksheet is relatively wide. You can also force portrait or landscape. Wide workbooks are difficult to print clearly on any fixed paper size, so the Fit to page width option scales the table into the printable width while keeping additional rows on later pages.
Pagination for Long Worksheets
The production converter renders worksheet rows in bounded batches rather than attempting to capture tens of thousands of rows as a single giant canvas. This avoids browser canvas limits and reduces peak memory use. Long sheets continue onto additional PDF pages, and the page count reflects the number of generated row batches. The tool does not intentionally drop rows to make a sheet fit.
Very Wide Worksheets
A sheet with many columns can become unreadable if it is forced onto one narrow portrait page. Landscape orientation and Fit to page width are sensible first choices. If the resulting text is still too small, consider splitting the source data into logical sheets or reducing unnecessary columns before conversion. The converter will not silently crop columns simply to make the layout appear cleaner.
CSV Conversion
CSV is supported as a simple single-sheet data source. It is parsed locally into rows and columns and follows the same PDF settings as an XLSX worksheet. CSV does not contain Excel formatting, formulas, merged cells or sheet metadata, so the output represents the stored text values. Quoted fields and ordinary comma-separated content are handled by the browser parser used in this package.
Features That Can Differ From Excel
Advanced conditional formatting, pivot-table interaction, charts, macros, Power Query, external connections, complex print areas, drawings and form controls are outside the scope of this lightweight browser print model. Basic merged-cell information and dimensions are used where exposed, but this is not Microsoft's Excel print engine. For regulated or layout-critical reports, compare the PDF with the source workbook before distribution.
