Built around browser-based document workflows
Many operations are performed directly by browser-side PDF, canvas, OCR or WebAssembly libraries. Individual tool pages explain their exact processing model, limitations and any pinned library assets they load.
We avoid universal claims such as “100% secure.” For sensitive workflows, use the specific privacy and security notes on the relevant tool.
Tool engines load on the pages that need them, not on this lightweight homepage.
Redaction, signing, OCR, repair and PDF/A pages describe what their browser workflows can and cannot guarantee.
No fake ratings, user counts or processing statistics are used.
A complete set of practical PDF tools
PDF work ranges from simple page organization to format conversion, editing and security-sensitive tasks. This site separates those jobs into focused tools so you can choose a workflow that matches what you actually need instead of navigating one overloaded interface.
Organize tools handle page structure; Optimize tools address size, repair and OCR; Convert tools cover common file formats; Edit tools add or adjust visible document elements; PDF Security tools cover authorized unlocking, encryption, visual signing, flattened redaction and document comparison.
Convert files to and from PDF
Create PDFs from images, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and HTML, or export PDF content to JPG and Office-oriented formats. Browser conversion can differ from Microsoft Office or desktop publishing applications because fonts, layouts and document features are interpreted by different engines. Each conversion page documents its own approach.
Organize and optimize PDF documents
Merge, split, remove, extract, reorder and scan pages, then reduce file size or run OCR when appropriate. Large or image-heavy PDFs can require significant browser memory, so processing time depends on document complexity and the device being used.
Edit and secure PDF files
Add overlays, page numbers and watermarks, rotate or crop pages, work with AcroForms, add visual signatures, compare versions and use secure flattened redaction when sensitive visible information must not remain in the original page content. Cropping and whiteout overlays are deliberately not described as secure redaction.
Frequently asked questions
Are these PDF tools free to use?
The current tools are presented without an account or paid conversion API requirement. Future advertising can support the site without changing the core tool controls.
Do I need to create an account?
No account system is required for the current static website.
Are my PDF files uploaded?
The project is designed around browser-side workflows. Read the privacy note on the specific tool because dependencies and implementation details differ by task.
Can I use the tools on a phone?
The site is responsive and tool interfaces are designed for modern mobile browsers, although very large documents may exceed a phone's available memory.
Why can Office conversions look different?
Browser conversion libraries do not reproduce every Microsoft Office feature identically. Fonts, charts, embedded objects and advanced layout can change.
Why can very large PDFs take longer?
Browser processing capacity depends on RAM, page count, page dimensions, images and the specific operation being performed.
Can every damaged PDF be repaired?
No. Repair is best effort. Some files can be structurally rewritten or visually salvaged, while severely corrupted content may be unrecoverable.
What is the difference between visual signing and a digital certificate signature?
A visual signature is a visible mark placed on a PDF. A certificate signature cryptographically signs document bytes with a private key and certificate. The Sign PDF tool clearly distinguishes these concepts.
